The range area itself stood up very well and did NOT flood, but unfortunately a tremendous amount of dirt washed down off the berm onto the immediate target area causing quite a mess. Those of you who use the range regularly will have noticed that this has happened a lot and, every month, a few dedicated volunteers have shovelled it all back up. Last month the Board approved expenditure on another row of railroad ties and these will be installed next week in an endeavor to alleviate the problem. Please use extra caution until this is done. The target area is very slippery.
